Helm Licencing

To help you get your hosting company up and running as smoothly as possible we provide a number of options for your Helm licencing.  Helm works great for both single server and multi-server configurations.  If you're unsure about what you need just ask.

For customers that have just one server or are just getting started with their hosting busines we provide Helm Lite, a domain-limited version of Helm that allows your to get started as cost effectively as possible and allows for a smooth upgrade path as you grow.  If you have 1 server but require more than 100 domains then you can also use our full Helm Control Server licence (see below).

 

Helm Lite 100 - This Helm licence allows you to host up to 100 domains on your Helm server. With the exception of the 100 domain limit this is a full featured Helm licence.

For customer that have more than one server we've designed Helm and our licencing to make things as easy for you as possible. 

 

Helm Control Server - In a multi-server configuration the first server is called the 'Control Server'.  This is the server that you install the Helm software on and the server that you and your customers will visit via the web to manage sites.  In most cases you'll require just 1 Helm Control Server licence.

Helm Remote Server - For each of your other servers you'll require a Helm Remote Server licence.  This effectively allows a Helm Control Server to communicate with the server.
